Toni Braxton Shares Throwback Pic with Sisters and Mom Evelyn — See What She Had to Say about Her Family

"Braxton Family Values" star Toni Braxton shared a throwback with her four sisters and mother. The post comes as the first time she mentions her family since her sister Tamar Braxton's hospitalization.

On July 16, Tamar Braxton was rushed to the hospital after her boyfriend, David Adefeso found her unconscious and unresponsive at her Ritz-Carlton residence in Los Angeles.

The singer and reality star had reportedly attempted suicide by taking a mixture of pills and alcohol. According to Essence, David gave an update on Tamar's condition and revealed that she was getting the best medical care for her mental health.

It is reported, within hours of her hospitalization, David, along with Tamar's family members were spotted rushing to see her at a hospital in Los Angeles. Upon arrival, Tamar was put on a 24-hour watch before being transferred to another facility for further treatment.

Her sisters, Trina, Traci, and Towanda broke their silence only days after her hospitalization. They did not go into detail about the situation but simply asked the public to pray for their family.

Meanwhile, Toni Braxton was pictured by paparazzi outside the hospital where Tamar was receiving care. Toni has been tight-lipped about her family until now. In a touching throwback photo with her four sisters and mother Evelyn, she wrote in her caption:

"Family is everything! Especially sisters!"

The photo showed the "Braxton Family Values" stars dressed in matching black outfits and trucker caps except for Tamar who opted for a white button-down shirt.

The photo showed a touching family moment as the sisters posed behind Toni who was front and center. It appeared to be a pleasant nostalgic moment for the R&B star.

Tamar's alleged suicide attempt came amid promotional clips for her upcoming show with WeTV titled "Get Ya Life!" David mentioned in his 911 call that Tamar had been dealing with several issues with the network.

According to Variety, WeTV has announced that the premiere date for the show which was set for July 30 had been moved to September.
