Tamar Braxton's Sisters Trina, Traci, and Towanda Ask for Prayers Amid Her Hospitalization

Tamar Braxton's sisters broke their silence and asked fans to pray for their family following her hospitalization after police responded to a possible suicide attempt.

"Braxton Family Values" stars Trina, Traci, and Towanda Braxton broke their silence after their sister, Tamar Braxton's hospitalization following a suspected suicide attempt.

According to The Blast, paramedics responded to a 911 call from Tamar's boyfriend, David Adefesco, who found her unconscious. A source told the media outlet she had reportedly drunk alcohol and a mix of prescription medicines.

Tamar had been staying at the Ritz Carlton Residences when paramedics found her unresponsive and unconscious. Tamar was rushed to California Hospital Medical Center where she was put on a 24-hour hold for additional treatment.

Nene called Tamar a strong person and said that the Grammy-nominated star was getting the help she needed for the hurt she had been experiencing.

Amid her sister's hospitalization, Trina posted a photo of a red heart against a white background. She didn't write a caption but her friends and fans showered her with love and support.

"I'm praying for you and your family...Love you," commented singer, Shanice. Reality star, Omarosa wrote, "love you sis!" Trina replied to a few of the well-wishes that she received from some of her celebrity friends.

She thanked Nicci Gilbert for her message which said, "I'm sending you and your family SO MUCH LOVE AND LIGHT...Love You Tri." The Braxton sister also shared a heart-warming exchange with a fan who sent her a message of prayer.

After Tamar's hospitalization, her spokesperson released a statement

, "Tamar has had a very tough and emotional day -- more information will be coming in the next few days. Please pray for her."

Her sister, Towanda, shared similar sentiments on Instagram and posted a photo with the words, "prayer for our family," written across a background scattered with hearts.

It is reported, that David, Toni Braxton, and several of Tamar's other family members were photographed arriving at the hospital shortly after she was rushed in by the L.A City Fire Department.

In her Instagram post, Traci followed suit with the rest of her sisters and reached out to her fans for their prayer. She posted an image of a quote that said, "keep my family in your prayers."

Only a day after Tamar's hospitalization, her friend Nene Leakes took to Instagram live and revealed that leading up to the tragic event, the two women had been leaning on each other for support.

Nene called Tamar a strong person and said that the Grammy-nominated star was getting the help she needed for the hurt she had been experiencing. Nene added that Tamar would share more details when she was ready to address the situation publically.
