Here's the unconventional gown Melissa Gilbert chose for her wedding
Melissa Gilbert married for the third time, and this time with actor Timothy Busfield.
The actress Melissa Gilbert, who became famous at age 10 playing "Laura Ingalls" in the series "The Little House on the Prairie", married on April 24, 2013, with the also actor Timothy Busfield.
Gilbert and Busfield gave the "yes" at the San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, located in the town of Santa Barbara, where Lawrence Olivier and Vivian Leigh married in the past, and John F. Kennedy and Jackie Kennedy enjoyed their honeymoon.
Gilbert, who was 48 at the time, and Busfield, 55, met more than two decades ago, but began their relationship less than 6 years ago, once the former daughter of Michael Landon divorced Bruce Boxleitner, her second husband.
The actress surprised the wedding attendants walking down the aisle wearing a long strapless red dress that stood out along with her beautiful red hair, while the boyfriend said "I accept" dressed in a dark blue suit and a white shirt without a tie.
This is the third time that both Gilbert and Busfield have decided to marry in their lives. Gilbert was previously married to Bo Brinkman, with him she was from 1988 to 1992 and had a son, Dakota Paul.
His second marriage was with Bruce Boxleitner, from 1995 to 2011 and they also had a son, Michael Garrett. Read more on our Twitter account @amomama_usa.

According to Gilbert's own words, this new relationship with Busfield has helped her to regain her self-confidence. Just two years after getting married, the actress decided to get rid of all the anti-aging treatments she had been using, like Botox and fillers such as Restylane.
She even decided to remove the breast implants she had with the idea of being reconciled with her true self and to feel comfortable in this natural way thanks to the courage that Busfield gave her to accept the passage of time along with the changes that she can bring to her appearance.
