Here's a look back at Tatyana Ali's 2016 lavish wedding
Remember Ashley Banks of "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air"? She's now a 39-year-old beautiful actress, and she took people's breath away when she tied the knot with Dr. Vaughn Rasberry in 2016.
Ali was a beaming bride on her wedding day, not only because it was the most special day in every woman's life, but also because she was flaunting her baby bump.
Tatyana Ali, who had a recurring role in "The Young and the Restless," is without a doubt a beautiful woman and she gave her heart away to a Stanford, assistant professor. She said “I do” to Dr. Vaughn Rasberry on July 17, 2016, and celebrated their 2nd-anniversary last month.
The 39-year-old actress and Harvard University graduate, who also played Tyana Jones on TV One sitcom "Love That Girl!," had an intimate and beautiful ceremony in Beverly Hills in California on a beautiful Sunday.
Tatyana previously told People that she was extremely excited before the big day as all of her and her groom’s family were coming to town.
The wedding had "an upscale Carribean vibe," and it was a reportedly small affair. Ali looked gorgeous wearing a fitted Amsale gown with silk details on the shoulders and a long veil. She walked down the aisle carrying white peonies and cream garden roses as her bump stole the spotlight. Her bridesmaids wore raspberry-colored Amsale dresses.
However, fans of the actress were more interested in knowing how she met her husband. Their love story is a modern one that fascinated the online world. The beautiful actress told Entertainment Tonight that she and Dr. Vaughn Rasberry met online.
“Vaughn and I met on eHarmony!” said the actress. And added,
“It was my first time dating online. We wrote letters for months before we decided to Skype. And then, of course, met.”
They’ve been blessed with their first child, Edward Aszard Rasberry, who they welcomed a few months after their wedding day. "It's nuts, and I'm tired, but I wouldn't go back and have it any other way," she gushed about the baby last year. "It's amazing. Everything feels full."
Ali is currently working on two films that are set to be released late in the year, "Doe," and "The Reason."
