The Times: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle won't say anything about Markle's dad Thomas

The Royal Family has been handling Duchess Meghan’s father’s outbursts and anger by saying nothing. It’s said that they’re working in the background to find the best way to deal with him.

However, Thomas Markle’s daughter and her husband, Prince Harry are said to have chosen to remain silent about him. They are said to be choosing that option in order to avoid more drama.

Duchess Meghan hasn’t spoken to her father, Thomas Markle, 74, since before her May marriage to Prince Harry. Thomas sparked drama when he posed for fake images for the media just before his daughter’s wedding.

Harry responded by calling Thomas and scolding him according to the father. He then dropped the phone on the Prince in retaliation.

Meghan’s father has claimed that he has been 'cut off' by the couple. In the past weeks, he’s also compared the Royals to Scientologists and claimed that Meghan would be better off 'if I was dead.'

He also shared that his daughter was a Royal because of him.

A source said, “Meghan doesn't think it's a fair game between her father and the media so she's not going to engage in it or instruct anyone on her behalf to set the record straight.”

“There have always been fears over his vulnerability. Now he's got himself into a cycle of talking publicly. It's very sad,” the insider added.

Harry’s father, Prince Charles was said to be sympathetic over the difficult situation. However, another source claimed that the Queen would be 'rolling her eyes' over the whole drama.

The source shared, “The only reason Meghan hasn't spoken to her father yet is because she's yet to hear from him in a respectful manner."

It seems Thomas is speaking to the press more than he's talking to his own daughter. Meghan’s half-sister, Samantha Grant Markle is reportedly going to join the UK version of “Celebrity Big Brother.”

There are some concerns that she might spark a whole new batch of problems for the Royals. She’s known for being quite critical of the Duchess of Sussex, posting scathing comments on her private Twitter.
