'The Bold and the Beautiful' star shares photos of her newborn baby 5 days after home-birth

Karla Mosley shared pictures on her Twitter of her new daughter, Aurora Imani only a few days after she welcomed her into the world with a home birth.

The newborn that Mosley and boyfriend John Rogers share weighed in at 8.1 pounds and 22 inches according to Mosley's post. In her caption, she also stated that her daughter "brings the light" and "walks with faith."

Mosley, who overcame an eating disorder she battled in the past, also added some humor to the touching post by claiming that her daughter is "Already posing."

In the adorable picture, Aurora has both tiny arms near her face as she looks directly at the camera from a side angle.

Mosley, who plays the character Maya on "The Bold and the Beautiful," took a break since June in preparation to deliver her bundle of joy.

Before that, however, she had to wear looser fitting outfits and use props to hide the baby bump that arose while she did her regular filming of the soap.

In order for her to take the maternity leave, the script was adapted to include Maya leaving to assist the character Rick at Forrester International.

Back in April 2018, Mosley accepted an award for Outstanding Daily Drama from B&B's GLAAD Media Awards. It was in recognition of the transgender storyline that Mosley's character Maya was a part of.

Her baby bump on the award night made a small appearance. She also posted an official announcement of her pregnancy during that month with a photo featuring the father-to-be.

She captioned:

"We are bleary-eyed just back from the desert, but it seems the secret is out. We are extremely grateful for the well wishes as we wait to meet our sweet little nugget this summer!"

Well, she has arrived and is already shaking up her mom's social media. Fans look forward to seeing Mosley return to her role in the acclaimed long-standing soap.

And we wish the family health and happiness as they start a new journey with dear Aurora.
