A recent report claimed that Newton-John’s cancer had reached her lower back following her announcement that she was battling breast cancer for the second time.

An unknown source told Radar Online that the 69-year-old won’t last long and has been looking forward to making it until her 70th birthday on September 26.

The source went on to say that the actress plans to have a huge celebration.

"Olivia is taking herbal medications and just trying to fight the cancer naturally. She’s trying to remain positive and taking things one day at a time," said the source on August 22.

Before the report surfaced, an Australian news outlet called the New Daily revealed that Newton-John canceled her upcoming tour in the land Down Under. Supposedly, she made the announcement less than a month after the concerts were marketed.

Following the alleged health update from Radar Online, Newton-John spoke up and said she is well.

The “Grease” star shared a statement on her social media platforms explaining that the canceled concert dates have nothing to do with her health.

The statement read, “Olivia Newton-John’s two upcoming speaking appearances in Australia were canceled due to scheduling conflicts with her upcoming promotional tour for her new book, Don’t Stop Believin” and the ONJ Cancer Wellness & Research Centre’s Wellness Walk & Research Run - not illness as falsely reported.”

Another person close to Newton-John spoke with People and backed up the statement. The source said, “This is just false. She’s feeling and looking great and was just dancing with John Travolta at a Grease 40th-anniversary event. Everything that’s being reported about her diagnosis is the same news she released last year.”

On August 15, Newton-John was spotted in public with Travolta at a “Grease” 40th-anniversary event in Los Angeles, California.

Although the star looked visibly thinner, she was seen dancing and enjoying the night with her dear friend and co-star.
