Carey is set to take up her "The Butterfly Returns" residency in Las Vegas on the 31st of August, reported the Daily Mail.

Carey started her residency at Caesars Palace's Colosseum in Las Vegas in January 2015 and has been packing in audiences since.

In the photo captioned "Friday #Moments" Carey is wearing a long silky gown in a tiger stripe animal print as she stands on an elegant staircase.

The dress has a full skirt and a deeply plunging neckline that showcases the singer's generous figure.

A glowing Carey is wearing a diamond bracelet, and her long golden curls fall around her shoulders in charming disarray.

It is presumed that the photographer was her boyfriend Bryan Tanaka, 35, a successful dancer/choreographer who has worked with many music greats, including Beyoncé.

Carey shares fraternal twins, Moroccan and Monroe, 6, with actor and comedian Nick Cannon.

The couple was married in 2008 while they shot her music video for her song "Bye Bye" on an island off the coast of Antigua, and divorced in 2016.

Carey has sold more than 200 million records worldwide, making her one of the best-selling music artists of all time.
