Jennifer Lopez dazzled everyone with $2 million jewels during MTV VMA

“World of Dance” star Jennifer Lopez stole attention at the red carpet during the MTV Video Music Awards with her jewelry worth more than $2 million.

Lopez was at the event to receive the Video Vanguard Award in New York on August 20, 2018.

The singer dazzled everyone as she donned a custom Versace dress while wearing luxurious jewelry from Tiffany & Co., which were reportedly worth over $2 million.

Her boyfriend, Alex Rodriguez, was her date during the event and looked dashing in his burgundy suit.

According to Vogue, Lopez chose the most expensive pair of diamond earrings for the event. The accessory was so special that it was the only pair ever made.

Tiffany & Co. made the jewelry even more intriguing when they refused to disclose the official price of the earrings.

The jewelry was an intricate pair of angular earrings. It had rows of diamonds in different cuts.

Vogue revealed it had baguettes, round brilliants, and pavé.

The singer’s stylist, Rob Zangardi, spoke with Vogue who talked about the one-of-a-kind earrings.

He said, “Naturally, the earrings Jennifer chose were the most expensive ones on the tray! She knows her jewelry!”

Apart from the diamond earrings, Lopez also wore 70 carats of diamond bracelets and rings, which were all reported to cost in six figures.

The jewelry she donned was a great match for her Versace silver chain mail gown that had a thigh-high slit.

Aside from receiving the award, Lopez was also tasked to perform during the live telecast. The 49-year-old put on a cape from Versace’s famous Pillow Talk print in blue and gold.

Following the event, Lopez put on the same print in the form of a catsuit for the after party.
