Some grandparents struggle with having a younger generation under their roof

The relationship between grandparents and their grandkids are always special. However, due to the obvious age-gap, it is also bound to be full of hilarious misunderstandings. These are some of these stories of the hilarious encounter.

Once an elderly man and his wife were taking care of their young grandson for just an afternoon. Suddenly, the man’s wife came to him telling him that they were short of diapers.

She then asked her to go to the nearby drug store and to buy some additional ones. The man wasn’t doing anything much so she readily agreed.

He went to the store and found a female clerk about 20 years old at the store. He approached her and kindly asked, “Excuse me. In which aisle can I find diapers.”

The young clerk looked at him closely and responded, “Adult or baby?”

In another story, a young granddaughter was observing her grandfather for a while. She then finally decided to ask him: “Grandpa, did God make you?”

The grandfather smiled at this. He nodded his head and said, “Yes, God made me.”

After a while, the little girl came back running to him and asked, “So did God make me too?” The grandfather smiled again and replied softly, “Yes, darling, he made you too.”

The girl nodded her head but seemed to be thinking about something. She seemed to be studying her grandfather closely. Then she would go to the mirror and then study herself as well.

The grandfather wondered at the little girl’s behavior. He finally decided to intervene. “What are you thinking, little girl?” he said.

“You know, Grandpa,” the little girl spoke up. “God’s doing a lot better job lately.”
