Chip and Joanna Gaines make first public appearance with 2-month-old baby

Joanna Gaines posted the sweetest picture of herself and her new baby son snuggled up to her as they attended a football game at McClane Stadium in Waco, Texas.

The two-month-old appeared to be sleeping on the HGTV host as she cheered on the Baylor Bears on September 2. She captioned the post, "First game day for baby Crew."

Below it, she included a football emoji and typed hashtag "#sicem," an attack call used by the Baylor University team.

The photo featured a gold harness, representative of the team's colors that held baby Crew closely to the 40-year-old's chest.

Interior designer Joanna likely had a great time considering her team won and her child slept soundly. According to Pop Culture, Baylor University defeated Abilene Christian 55-27.

Crew comes as the fifth child to the couple's four other children: Emmie Kay, 8; Duke, 9; Ella, 11; and Drake 13. Upon seeing the pregnancy results last year, Joanna said: "my jaw dropped."

"Chip was in the driveway about to leave when I called him back and said, 'We're pregnant!' She continued, "He was so excited. We're both just so excited."

But it was a totally unexpected bundle of joy for Joanna and her contractor and real estate husband.

"When we were done [with the show], we had no plan like, 'Let's have baby No. 5.' It was a total surprise. But when we found out, it solidified that it was the right decision to leave when we did."

Chip's caption under his post that day simply read, "#gameday." The proud parents both smiled into the camera at the forefront of the large stadium behind them.

Sleeping Baby Crew is no stranger to the camera. Back in July, husband Chip shared another adorable photo of the newborn sleeping on his arm.
