A source close to E! News says that the "America's Got Talent" judge will have to undergo complete random drug testing after her former nanny gave a statement regarding her abusive ways when he was still living in their house.

According to the source, the court even ordered that both parents can't consume drugs or alcohol at least 8 hours before caring for their daughter Madison, and they must choose a new custody evaluator by September 14. Both sides will submit these names to court and the judge will be in charge of choosing with which evaluator to go with.

"The court today did not take custody away from Mel nor did they give Stephen what he wanted. Things could change in terms of custody down the line once the custody evaluation is complete, there has to be a custody evaluation in order for the court to make new custody orders."

After reports stated that Mel B did not greet their daughter Madison over the weekend, the insider also adds that this was not true and that Melanie FaceTimed her daughter over the weekend. She also says that she has a planned birthday party for her daughter this week, and the court is not interfering with those birthday plans.

A previous report by Celebritist shares how Mel B's ex-nanny had broken his silence regarding her alcohol addiction, which ultimately influenced the decision of the court to make her undergo random drug and alcohol testing.

Now that Mel and Stephen are in court battling the custody of their children, the results of these tests will determine what will happen. Russell Updegraff, the caretaker of their kids for several months this year, filed a declaration narrating her "serious drinking problem" due to his concern for their children, Angel and Madison.
