Bobby Brown's biopic heats up talks after alleging that he had an affair with Janet Jackson

Bobby Brown and Janet Jackson's alleged affair is hitting the small screen after BET picked it up on its newly- aired "The Bobby Brown Story".

The music legends' alleged affair in the 1980's takes center stage as it was depicted last Tuesday night on BET's "The Bobby Brown Story".

According to reports, the movie narrates the story of the two, who ended up together in a one night stand. Following their intimate night, the "My Prerogative" singer is seen kicking the songstress out of the hotel room they stayed in, even slamming the door on her face.

In the movie, Brown apparently felt that the Jackson family would not let Janet be in a relationship with him because of his brown skin. She is also hinted to have been dating someone else at the time, but it is unclear who it was. Either way, their quick fling ended soon after.

This movie isn't the first time the alleged romance between the two stars has been revealed, as Bobby himself said that they did have a relationship in his 2016 autobiography "Every Little Step: My Story".

In 2016, E! News even recalls the singer letting everyone know about the time he fell in love with Jackson.

"I fell in love with [Janet] when she was Penny on "Good Times". It goes that far, you know, my infatuation with her."

According to him, the two of them secretly dated in the'80s, and what was depicted in the biopic was what he narrated in his autobiography, thus making it accurate.

While the story of their forbidden romance is currently a hot topic due to the biopic, this is definitely old news for the both of them. Now, Bobby Brown is happily married to Alicia Etheredge, and Janet is allegedly dating rapper Jermaine Dupri.

This rumor started when Janet and Wissam Al Mana announced that they were officially separated, and it heightened when Jermaine was spotted holding a baby boy on his lap, that looked like Jackson's son Eissa.

However, Jermaine quashed these rumors in a radio interview, saying that although the two of them were good friends, they were not planning to enter in a relationship with one another.

Janet and Jermaine dated one another for almost a decade before, and if the two were to get back into a relationship, hiding it wouldn't have been in their plans.
