Monica Brown's daughter turns 5 in lavish, carnival-themed birthday party

Monica Brown went all out for her daughter's 5th birthday party. She had rides, games, animals, and unlimited treats as she transformed the venue into a carnival.

Monica Brown’s daughter just turned five and she celebrated the occasion with an amazing carnival-themed party.

This weekend, the singer’s Instagram was flooded with photos sharing a glimpse of the party she prepared for her daughter Laiyah. There were games, bungees, rides reptiles, a snake, and an unlimited supply of popcorn, cotton candy, funnel cake and snow cones.

The colorful affair was Monica’s way of celebrating another year in the life of her daughter who she feels blessed to have. In her post commemorating Laiya’s special day, she wrote,

“Laiyahs Big Top Carnival” was AMAZING... I have been blessed to enjoy the presence of your unconditional love for FIVE years!! @laiyahbrown Mommy & Daddy were happy to bring your hearts desire to you on your day!!!! Games, Rides, Treats, reptiles galore ... Most importantly Friends & Family .... #LaiyahsBigTopCarnival #FinallyFive.”

The caption accompanied a polaroid photo of a smiling Laiyah wearing a Gucci T-shirt and fashioning tiny braids with beads adorning its ends. A glimpse of rainbow colors in the waist of her pink skirt could also be seen in the pic.

In another post, a fuller shot of Laiya was used where she stands against a table lined with shimmering gold cloth and filled with assorted treats for her guests. Monica captioned it,

“Girls Just Want to Have Fun.... Our Baby Girl is #FinallyFive#LaiyahsBigTopCarnivalwas simply EVERYTHING.. Fun , Food , Fair & FAMILY..... Thank you @ideaeventstyle for taking on my crazy idea with only a weeks notice !! LOL”

Monica also shared a mother-daughter photo where she’s hugging Laiya and sporting yellow hair. “Your day was just as amazing as you are Princess,” she gushed.

The mother-of-three also posted photos of her sons Rocko and Romelo and gushed about them too. The two boys are Laiya’s half-brothers. They’re Monica’s children with her ex-husband Rodney “Rocko” Hill.

Laiya’s father is Monica’s current husband, NBA player Shannon Brown. They were married in 2010 and renewed their vows the following year. Two years later, Monica gave birth to Laiyah who has since been the apple of her eye. They’re often photographed in matching outfits like the one the singer recently shared. They twinned in Burberry with Monica fashioning a yellow pantsuit and Laiyah wearing a blue dress. Mother and daughter were dressed for a night of partying at Beyonce and Jay-Z’s “On the Run II Tour” in Atlanta and were even photographed alongside DJ Khaled, Ceelo Green, and Monica’s cousin, Ludacris.
