Idris Elba's fiancée shares adorable video of the couple celebrating his 46th birthday

Sabrina Dhowre is living her best life next to her fiancé, Idris Elba, and to celebrate his birthday, she shared a hilarious video that made fans have mixed reactions.

Idris Elba turned 46 on September 6, but he looks maybe ten years younger, according to his hard-die fans. The English actor was, until recently, one of the most sought-after bachelors of the industry, but that changed when he proposed to girlfriend Sabrina back in February.

The former Miss Vancouver shared a video on Instagram to commemorate her fiancé’s special day. In the short clip, Sabrina can be seen turning her head back and plucking her lips to get a kiss, but instead, she gets a full on lick from Elba.

The “Luther” star looked satisfied with his mischievous move, while Dhowre made a disgusted face to the camera before stopping recording. She wasn’t outraged though, as she later thanked Idris for always making her laugh.

She captioned the video:

“Happy birthday baby! You’re my best friend, thank you for always making me laugh and filling my life with joy. So many big things planned it’s gonna be a crazy year for you, enjoy it! #reallove”

Fans of the actor took to Sabrina’s comment section to share their reactions to the endearing clip. One user wrote “Cause a simple kiss won't do...Lawd Jesus,” another added, “Ok. Keep him... damn he can't kiss Happy Birthday to dat crazy one,” and a third one said “I should be sooo jealous, but I'm happy Y'all are happy... Lick him back girl!!!! That's Idris Elba...lmao.”

Elba, on the other hand, also took to his Instagram to post a video thanking everyone for the birthday wishes. The actor explained that he wasn’t excited about his birthday, but Sabrina organized a pleasant surprise for him.

She gathered video messages from Idris friends and put together a birthday video of almost 30 minutes that left Elba feeling content and blissful on his day. He also described his year as one of the “bonkers, rockiest, weirdest, up-and-down,” years he’s had.

Just a few days ago the film “Yardie” which marks Elba’s directorial debut, was premiered officially on theaters. Sabrina was there with him at the red carpet, and even though she wore a long blue gown and Elba decided to attend in sweats, she didn’t get mad.

“I can’t explain how good it feels watching someone you love do something amazing. Congratulations baby, what a journey, can’t even be mad you didn’t wear a suit,” she captioned a pic of the event.
