Jessica Simpson and husband Eric Johnson are expecting a baby

Jessica Simpson announced she is pregnant with her third child.

On September 18 Jessica announced the arrival of her and husband Eric Johnson’s third child, a girl on Instagram.

They creatively broke the news to their other 2 children Ace Knute, 5, and Maxwell ‘Maxi’ Drew, 6.

It was happy news and they are excited to become a family of five.

IT WAS UNPLANNED

In May 2017 she told Ellen DeGeneres:

“I have two beautiful children and I’m not having a third. They’re too cute! You can’t top that”

SURPRISING THE CHILDREN

The broke the news by hiding pink balloons inside big polka dot balloons.

When the big balloons popped smaller pink ones got revealed, followed by the announcement.

JESSICA ON MOTHERHOOD

Jessica has always been open about her love of motherhood and feels blessed at the expansion of their family, adding:

“Being a mother is the best opportunity and challenge I’ve ever been blessed with in life. These little innocent kids teach me so much about life.”

She notes that husband Eric is also the disciplinarian, however when the kids want something they usually get it.

Being an expecting mother would not be the only new addition to their lives.
