Man on scooter stops traffic to let a weak 92-year-old granny cross a busy road

A scooterist was able to single-handedly stop traffic just to aid a helpless elderly lady cross an incredibly busy street.

The incident took place in China and, although the identity of the good scooter ride is yet to be revealed, the deed has been highly praised.

The incredible moment was captured by a CCTV camera and the footage has since been uploaded to Youtube, where thousands of people have been able to watch it.

The video has been widely spread across China after it was released by the Hezhou Traffic Police, which confirmed that the rider's actions were vital to guarantee the lady's safety.

THE OTHER DRIVERS WERE RECKLESS

According to the police, she started crossing the street when the light was green, but because she walked slowly, it eventually turned red.

She was left helpless in the middle of the road as cars drove past her, not caring whether she would get hit or not as long as they could pass.

MORE PEOPLE SHOULD BE THIS KIND

Thankfully, the anonymous rider arrived and, with his scooter, blocked two lanes, forcing the cars to come to a halt just so the lady could reach the other side of the road.

Good deeds like this are becoming rarer and rarer but, fortunately, there are still plenty of people in the world willing to do the right thing.

RESPECT FOR THE ELDERS

Maurice Adams, an 8-year-old boy from Milledgeville, Georgia, is one of those rare specimens. One day, he was heading home with his parents when he noticed an elderly lady with a walker struggling to go up some steps.

He immediately asked his mother, Contricia Hill, if he could help her and, after being given the green light, the boy jumped out of the car and helped the lady.

People in the other cars were forced to wait for Maurice to finish his good deed but it was all worth it. In the end, he received a grateful hug from the senior and his actions ended up on Youtube for everyone to enjoy.
