She recently shared just how much she went through before conceiving, and in recent pictures, Remy Ma continued to flaunt the result of her patience and determination, this time in a revealing black romper.

The “Love & Hip Hop” star rocked her growing baby bump in a Fashion Nova jumpsuit that also offered a full view of her toned thighs. The outfit featured a plunging neckline from which Remy flashed a black bra. Strappy gold heels and hoop earrings completed her ensemble, and she wore her hair to one side.

“Look at all that Melanin Magic,” Remy gushed. The rapper has every reason to celebrate, following the torturous journey that led to her current pregnancy.

Remy and her husband, Papoose, were recently on “The Breakfast Club” to promote their new show “Meet The Mackies,” and the couple went down memory lane, from Remy’s conviction to Papoose giving her injections in the butt.

MIRACLE BABY ON THE WAY

The soon-to-be dad expressed his excitement about finally expecting a child with his wife of ten years. Remy and Papoose tied the knot in 2008, while Remy was serving time in prison.

“I had to wait seven and a half years for her to come home to have this baby,” Papoose recalled. “Then when she came home she had to get to work. She finally got pregnant and then she had a miscarriage. … It’s a special moment for me, because it’s a miracle baby, because we been through so much to have this child and finally it’s happening.”

Remy went through a devastating miscarriage last year as a result of ectopic pregnancy, and since then, has had to put in more work to conceive again.

EVERYTHING IT TAKES

Soon after the incident, the “All The Way Up” rapper began sporting a slimmer physique. At the time, she revealed that it had to do with her cutting meat out of her diet. What she didn’t say, however, is that it had something to do with getting pregnant:

“I lost a lot of weight prior to getting pregnant, so I can have a successful pregnancy. So I had to keep my weight down and keep it stable for about a year … I stopped eating meat, I stopped eating carbs, cut out sugars.”

The couple shared how Remy had to take multiple IVF injections in her stomach and her butt, and how Papoose helped out with the needles. They also had to sacrifice the time for a two-hour drive to the doctor’s appointment every other day.

A LOVE THAT LASTS

In all these, the two stuck by each other and renewed their vows in an intimate July ceremony. Remy and Papoose used the occasion to announce that Remy was 14 weeks pregnant, and the expectant mama has been flaunting their joy ever since.

This will be the first child together for Remy and Papoose, but the lovebirds both have children from previous relationships.
