Brandy shows off fuller curves in tight red pants & high heels after weight gain
Actress and singer Brandy Norwood, best known for “Brandy & Ray J: A Family Business,” took to Instagram to share a photo of herself wearing a beautiful red ensemble.
In the image, the reality star was posing in black high-heel boots, tight red pants, and a black and red top. Apart from Brandy's gorgeous outfit, her black hair and pretty smile she flashed at the camera attracted a lot of attention.
For the caption, Brandi pointed out that she loved playing in her “Star” character’s clothes, Cassie Nova, adding that the series would return to people’s screens on September 26.
As soon as the actress uploaded that photo, her followers took to the comment section to share their thoughts.
One of them was Instagram user Tonya McClendon, who pointed out that Brandi looked very good in that size. User @_doin_it_44 chimed in and said that the actress looked like she did in “Moesha.”
A FULLER BODY
Those followers were praising the 39-year-old star’s physique after she decided to get a fuller body so she could show off her best assets.
Even though several people have been encouraging her throughout the process of gaining weight, some others have shared negative comments, or even creating rumors about her being pregnant.
NOT PREGNANT
Brandy revealed that she was not pregnant and that she was gaining a couple of pounds because she changed her lifestyle. She had been eating clean and exercising a lot for seven years, and she got tired of it.
“I was like, ‘Yo; I’m tired of this crazy discipline. I need something to eat! I want some pasta! I want some pizza! I want some cake! I want something other than salmon, broccoli and asparagus and water! Every day!’ [sic]” pointed out the actress.
AVOIDING AN UNHEALTHY WEIGHT
Finally, Brandy revealed that she was ready to lose weight again, but that she didn’t want to go back to the “skinny, unhealthy” person she was in the past.
SY’RAI’S ENCOURAGING WORDS
Recently, Brandy’s 15-year-old daughter Sy’rai shared some encouraging words about self-confidence. In her speech, she let two girls know that if someone wanted to change, they should do it because they want to and not because others say that they were “big” or “fat.”
Later, the teen pointed out that there might be people who are beautiful on the outside but that are “so ugly” in the inside, trying to make clear that what really mattered was people’s personality.
“Don’t ever let anyone else tell you who you are… Nobody’s going to care about your weight as long as you walk in that school with confidence,” said Sy’rai.
