Mother gives birth to beautiful triplets after ignoring doctor's warning to abort one of them

Rockwell, Cali, and Elli are six months old and their parents Christy and Ryan Beck of Richmond are adapting to their new and chaotic routine.

As reviewed by Inside Edition, the couple began trying to conceive about three years ago, and when the natural methods were not successful, they consulted doctors and specialists before initiating In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) treatments.

The couple ended up taking out a $ 30,000 loan to pay for their second round of IVF. The insurance covered only part of the cost, which included medications and "thousands" of pregnancy tests, so the Becks claimed to have paid $ 50,000 out of pocket.

"It was worth it for me to take that bet because it was how much I wanted to have children, I just wanted to do everything in my power to make it happen," Christy said.

"They told me: Congratulations, you will have twins." I did not hear a word from the doctor from that moment, because it seemed incredible," she recalled.

But despite her great happiness, she ended up having a complicated pregnancy.

Her medication gave her a bad reaction, and she had to fight the fever, so the doctors kept her under constant surveillance and discovered that one of the embryos had split to become twins.

After the finding, the doctors advised the expectant mother to interrupt the pregnancy of one of the babies, claiming that the twins who shared a placenta had very little chance of surviving and could harm the other baby.

But the couple refused and decided to take the risk of carrying all three babies to term, but Christy had to remain at full rest from week 20.

A NEW LIFE FOR ALL

The slower rhythm paid off, and at 32 weeks, Christy gave birth through a cesarean section.

The triplets spent the first two months of their lives in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit before returning home with their parents, mothers' day. Since then, the three babies have reached their milestones and been given good health reports.

They are very unique triplets since two of them were conjoined at birth. The triplet's biological mother did not visit any doctors during her pregnancy, so she wasn’t expecting to give birth to triplets. After finding out about it, she and her partner decided to give them up for adoption.
