11-Year-Old 'General Hospital' star exits'Dancing with the Stars: Juniors'

The second week of ‘Dancing with the Stars: Juniors’ ended with shocking results when a dancing favorite got eliminated.

The children were tasked with dancing to songs released in the year they were born, Hudson West, star of television series ‘General Hospital’ performed the Paso Doble to Madonna and Justin Timberlake’s ‘Four Minutes,’ released in 2008. They impressed the judges and audience as he and his partner Kameron Couch entertained them with their superhero-themed routine.

Judges showered him with compliments as Adam Rippon commented that their partnership was fun to watch, Mandy Moore mused that he had embodied his character and loved that he held Kameron so strong.

Val Chmerkovskiy though West had ‘killed it.’Mandy Moore gave them a wonderful score of 8 for their routine while Rippon and Chmerkovskiy both gave them a score of 7, giving them a score total of 22 out of 30.

The pair received one of the better scores of the evening placing them in second place before the studio audience votes were factored in. The final results came in and the pair ended up in 10th place and consequently got voted out of the competition.

Hudson will now be able to focus all his energy on his role as Jake Spencer in the hit series General Hospital again, although it has been an exciting year for him after getting nominated for his first Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series for his role in ‘General Hospital.’

After booking his first commercial at the age of 6 he has appeared in a variety of TV shows since featuring Grey’s Anatomy, Modern Family, Major Crimes, Grace and Frankie, Dicky & Dawn and Grace and Frankie, and he is only 11 years old.

Hosting this year’s ‘Dancing with the Stars: Junior’ is Frankie Muniz and Jordan Fisher and should be an interesting experience since they will both see it from different perspectives given they have also both previously participated in the show. They are both elated to be part of his year’s season and honored to be left in charge of the hosting of a season that is bound to be an action-packed and entertaining one.
