Duchess Meghan ditched her habitual stilettos for flats – but this seems pair worth it
The Duchess of Sussex has mastered the art of walking in high heels, but even she can't resist a long walk in them, which was why she opted for a different alternative.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry started their 16-day tour in Australia on the same day that they announced to the public that they were expecting a baby.
So, already prepared for exhausting days and long walks, the 37-year-old packed a pair of flat shoes to make her life a little easier during their stay.

During a walk through Sydney, Meghan was spotted wearing a pair of black Rothy's flats instead of her nude suede Stuart Weitzman Legend pumps.
A SAFE CHOICE
The classic black shoes have become an internet favorite, not only for its simple design but for how comfortable they are. Plus, they are eco-friendly!
That's right, the pointed toe flats are made from recycled water bottles and they can be easily washed. This is the second eco-friendly item that Meghan has been seen sporting in the last few days.
GOING GREEN
The Duchess also rocked a Grabriela Hearst Demi Satin tote, which is made from sustainable materials. The Australian tour barely began but Meghan and Harry already had a great time.
They paid a visit to Sydney's Taronga Zoo, where they were able to interact with several local animals, and are expected to visit New Zealand and Fiji in the following days.
PIPPA'S WALK INTO MOTHERHOOD
But Harry and Meghan aren't the only ones on the news; On Tuesday, October 16, Pippa Middleton, Kate Middleton's sister, gave birth to a healthy baby boy.
The 35-year-old arrived at St Mary's Lindo Wing, the same venue where Kate gave birth to Prince Louis, early in the morning and welcomed the bundle of joy two minutes before 2 p.m. The name of the baby is yet to be revealed.
