Keshia Knight Pulliam's daughter, 1, rocks her thick brown hair & looks just like mom in new pic
Since Keshia Knight Pulliam unveiled her daughter’s face recently, the proud mom has been sharing more photos of Ella Grace. In a recent Instagram photo, Pulliam and Ella beamed for the camera in a cute mommy-and-me shot.
Pulliam, 39, welcomed her only child in January 2017, but for a long time, the “Cosby Show” alum only shared hints of her daughter on social media. Now that Ella’s face has been revealed, Pulliam is having the most fun with her mini-me.
The actress shared another photo a few days back where she was cuddling one-year-old Ella. The adorable tot melted hearts with her cute eyes and nicely-ruffled brown hair. Pulliam captioned the shot: “Morning cuddles with my mini #MommyAndEllaGrace.”
Pulliam was awarded full custody of Ella Grace in April after a judge ruled in her favor while also finalizing the divorce between her and her ex-husband, Ed Hartwell.
FALSE ACCUSATION
As part of the terms, Hartwell, a retired NFL player got visitation rights and was ordered to pay $3,007 per month in child support. The estranged Exes also finally settled on “Pulliam-Hartwell” as their daughter’s surname.
It is understandable that Pulliam would want Ella to have her last name because Hartwell had initially denied being her father. Just four months into their marriage, in July, he filed for divorce, claiming that Pulliam’s unborn child wasn’t his.
A TOUGH PLACE
The “Tyler Perry's House of Payne” star responded to his claims in an interview with ET Online where she maintained:
“This is his baby. He wanted more children. He was excited once he found out that we were having a little girl. There was never a question about that. … [At] no point after we got pregnant was there an issue of the fact that we’re having a baby.”
A paternity test revealed that Hartwell was indeed Ella’s father, and it was later discovered that he had been the unfaithful partner.
A MESSY DIVORCE
Pulliam also confessed that she was deeply hurt and blindsided by the divorce. She had found out earlier about his cheating and decided to give their marriage a second shot:
"The part that hurt me the most when he filed for divorce was that he had asked me to give him another chance, and I was willing to do that and forgive him, for our family."
MOVING ON
Now, however, it appears Pulliam has moved on and is more concerned with being the best mom to Ella. About four months ago, she took to Instagram with a throwback photo of Ella as an infant, reminiscing on how big her daughter has grown. She also shared a photo of Ella in a “Good Karma” t-shirt and African-inspired head wrap last month.
Pulliam once said of Ella, “She is my greatest accomplishment & joy. She has inspired my smile even thru the tears,” and from the numerous mommy-and-me photos, we’re convinced that’s the truth.
