Meghan Markle flaunts a chic elegant blazer designed by a friend on her Australian tour

Prince Harry and his bride Meghan Markle are currently in Australia for a royal tour, and she is turning heads with her elegant style choices.

Markle donned a grey blazer designed by her best friend, Serena Williams. She paired it with a white Maison Kitsune shirt and black Outland Jeans.

The outfit was rounded off with a pair of black J. Crew boots and a necklace designed by local fashion designer, Natalie Marie Jewellery.

Her hair was styled in a sleek ponytail and kept her makeup to a minimum. Photos of the outfit can be seen below.

She wrote: "The face you make when you and Meghan have matching [Serena] blazers."

Williams added the hashtag "be seen be heard." The post received more than 300,000 likes and more than 1,700 comments in 18 hours.

The jacket retails for $145,00, and since Meghan was seen wearing it in public, stock has been flying off the shelves.

The professional tennis star also commended Meghan earlier this year when the Duchess released a cookbook titled "Together."

At the time, Williams wrote: "I could not be more excited about it and proud of you. It’s beautiful — diversity, inclusivity, coming together in grief or joy — there is just so much love."

Meghan's half-sister, Samantha, has also spoken to the press about pregnancy news. She said the news "made everything that happened over the past year disappear."

"I want Meghan to be happy and calm and have peace. Everybody needs to be positive."

Samantha also said that she hopes that – for the sake of the baby and their family – that leaving Meghan's father out of the statement was not intentional.

"I hope my dad is included and at a proper time. If he is excluded, I won’t be happy. It is in the best interests of the baby for my dad to be included."

While it appears as Meghan didn't share the news with her father, her mother, Doria Ragland, is looking forward to the arrival of her first grandchild.
