Pregnant Carrie Underwood flaunts two elegant glittery dresses at CMT Artist of the Year Awards
On Wednesday, country singer Carrie Underwood attended the CMT Artists Of The Year Awards. There she was honored with other artists.
At the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville, the star stunned with two elegant shimmering dresses. Her baby bump was front and center during all her appearances.
Carrie Underwood, 35, was one of the female artists who were honored at the CMT Artist of the Year Awards. Her fellow winners were Kelsea Ballerini, Miranda Lambert, Maren Morris, Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild and Kimberly Schlapman, Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott, and Loretta Lynn.
Despite cradling a prominent baby bump, Underwood still remained stunning for the event. She walked the red carpet in a long sleeve sequined blue Tadashi Shoji dress.

She wore a black and gold long sleeve dress that was designed with geometric patterns and decorations. The first award show that Underwood showed off her belly was the American Music Awards earlier this month.
For her acceptance speech, the singer said:
“We need more things like this. You are not here because you are women, you are here because you’re dang good. It is an honor to get to share tonight with you.”
Underwood was addressing her fellow winners in her opening speech. After her speech, she performed a medley of songs sung by women with country duo Maddie & Tae.
On September 11, CMT announced the first female-focused lineup for the show. Senior Vice President of Music & Talent for CMT, Leslie Fram, said at the time that it was meant to “reflect what's happening right now in culture and in the lives of our fans.”
“In this monumental year for women, dedicating one of the biggest nights in the genre to applaud female country artists not only solidifies our commitment, but we hope will spark a much-needed change in the industry.”
Underwood is currently expecting her second child with husband Mike Fisher. They already share a 3-year-old son named Isaiah Michael.
In June, before her pregnancy started showing, Underwood attended the CMT Music Awards wearing a yellow beaded mini dress with sheer sleeves by Nicolas Jebran. Like her recent dresses, the Jebran dress showed off her long legs.
