Chantelle Harris of Bedworth, Warwickshire splurged on plastic surgery after her boyfriend proposed to her.

The 29-year-old cosmetics supplier shelled out $15,000 for breast implants and a gastric band to lose weight.

After successfully losing weight, Harris was disappointed to see that her breasts also shrunk. So she decided to get a boob job.

“After losing eight stone I felt great, I was fitter, not sluggish anymore and could feel the difference in every aspect of my life,” she said. “My only problem was that my breasts had lost a lot of their volume and I’d gone down five cup sizes. It left me feeling unhappy as there was nothing I wanted more than to look amazing on my wedding day.”

AMAZING BODY TRANSFORMATION

Harris said having breast implants “was the way to complete my amazing transformation.”

She spent on this transformation although her fiance, Marlon Powell, 30, didn’t seem to care about how she looked.

“What took me aback was that before most people would see my size before anything else, but not my fiancé, Marlon, he didn’t even think I was big enough to have a gastric band. Before my breast surgery, he told me that he only wanted me to have the surgery if I was doing it for myself and no one else – he didn’t mind whether I had it or not,” she said.

Harris, who weighed 294 pounds at her heaviest, said she felt so much happier after achieving the physical transformation she wanted for herself. She felt more confident and had so much more energy.

INSPIRING OTHERS

Harris’s story is reminiscent of that of Fulvia Pellegrino, who spent fortunes in body transformation but vows to continue to do so until she has achieved the perfect body.

The 56-year-old transgender woman has spent over $76,000 on various cosmetic procedures and surgeries including 150 lip and cheekbone fillers, four breast implants, and two rounds of liposuction.

As for Harris, she wanted to share her story to inspire others who share her struggles that they, too, can transform themselves.
