Meet 'The Conners' character who was actually a 'Roseanne' star
On Tuesday, “Big Bang Theory” and “Roseanne” star Johnny Galecki reprised his role on “The Conners.” The sitcom is a spinoff of “Roseanne.”
On the episode, Galecki was still married to Sara Gilbert’s character Darlene. However, he was now living with another woman, a new cast member played by Juliette Lewis.
“The Conners” second episode that brought back Johnny Galecki as David Healy was called "Tangled Up in Blue." On the episode saw Darlene, played by Sara Gilbert, was surprised when Healy arrived at a parent-teacher conference with his girlfriend Blue, played by Juliette Lewis.
He announced that he and his girlfriend would be taking the children for the coming weekend. Darlene and Healy had two children together, namely: Harris, played by Emma Kenney, and Mark, played by Ames McNamara.

However, Healy reminds her that she said he could take the children sometime. She eventually relents when he explains that he wants to make up for lost time with his children.
Later on, Healy appears again this time thanking Darlene for understanding about his relationship with Blue. But then she asks him if she knows that they slept together three months before.
He begs her not to say anything because Blue might be his soulmate. Darlene relents again and allows herself to date someone else.
The following day, Healy confesses to her that Harris slept with a boy at his place while he was at work. A seething Darlene goes over to confront Blue and blames her for not watching the children.
She takes Harris to get a morning-after pill and Healy apologizes for not being there and asks her to take it easy on Blue. Realizing that she needs to move on, Darlene suggests that its time they officially divorced.
Another cast member on the spinoff, Michael Fishman, shared that it was possible that Roseanne Barr could feature on the new show. He said it hadn’t been discussed but “never say never.”
“The Conners” airs on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
