Famous 'Boy Meets World' actor William Daniels prevents a home robbery attempt
The quick actions of William Daniels kept a burglar from making it past the inside of his back door during a recent break-in attempt.
Best known for his role as Mr. Feeny in the iconic 90s sitcom ‘Boy Meets World,’ William Daniels prevented a would-be-robber from robbing himself and his wife in their home on October 27.
The 91-year-old actor was sitting at home with his 89-year-old wife, Bonnie Bartlett when they heard sounds around 9:30 pm that night. Acting quickly William switched on a light, which scared the intruder, he then phoned the authorities immediately.

The police arrived shortly after at their residence in San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles. Thankfully, the couple was unharmed and William’s publicist said:
"Thankfully, nobody was harmed in this incident, they are both well. Mr. Daniels thanks all of his fans for their concern."
A recent string of Los Angeles burglaries targeted high profile celebrities like Rihanna, who’s house have been broken into earlier this year in May, and then again on September 26.
According to reports Rihanna was not in her home when the police responded to the alarm that went off at her Hollywood Hills home around 10:30 pm. Three suspected men got seen by police as they fled the scene in a silver vehicle upon their arrival.
Police do not believe that William Daniels got targeted and treated as an isolated incident. William Daniels has had a busy acting career which started with his first television film in 1952 named ‘A Woman of the Ages.’
In one of his 21 feature films over the years he played the voice of KITT, the talking car in 1991 from ‘Knight Rider 2000 and again in the film ‘Benchwarmers’ in 2006.
William starred in numerous television shows over the years including the current hit ‘Boy Meets World.’ In 1986, William and his wife Bonnie, who portrayed his fictional wife on both St. Elsewhere’ and ‘Boy Meets World,’ won Emmy Awards at the same time, and became the first married couple since Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne in 1965 to do the same.
