Tamera Mowry's daughter is a pretty little lady in cute shirt & pink tutu in recent photo
Tamera Mowry’s youngest daughter, Ariah, is stealing hearts in a recent pic shared by the TV host on Instagram. The 3-year-old took her first step on her education this year, and Tamera couldn’t be prouder.
The former “Sister, Sister” actress has become an excellent example for moms, often sharing the best moments of motherhood with her Instagram followers and some of the struggles she faces as a mother of two as well.
In a recent post, Tamera gushed about her little girl and took the chance to spread a message of union among her followers. Ariah looks like a pretty lady wearing a white t-shirt with the message “Together we are all one” printed on it. She paired it up with a pink tutu skirt with golden dots on it, and her curly hair was parted on the side with a cute brooch.
“Yes Ariah ... Together We Are All One,” Tamera captioned the adorable photo.
Her fans immediately took over the comment section to share their thought on Ariah’s cuteness and how fast she’s growing:
“Why do kids grow soo fast! Ariah Housley is sooo beautiful and growing up.” - @meliraj
“She is so adorable. She always looks like she is bursting with joy.” - @gem_n_i_redfearn
“The older she gets, the more she begins to look like you. @tameramowrytwo.” - @weaver.jermaine
“United we stand. She gets more beautiful every time. A little princess.” - @kimberlywilliams1905
PRAYING FOR A MINI-ME
While Ariah resembles Tamera a lot, the possibility of the girl not looking like her was high, considering that Tamera is in an interracial marriage with FOX News anchor Adam Housley. Their eldest son, Aden, looks more like Adam. He has his father’s eyes and hair color.
So, when Tamera was pregnant with Ariah, she prayed for the girl to look like her, as the 40-year-old confessed on “The Real.”
“This is The Real, so I’m going to be honest," Tamera said.
"I really wanted Ariah to really look like me. Like, everything. Everything. I think she has my skin color and my eye color.”
Fellow co-host Adrienne Bailon Houghton chimed in:
“You prayed for that! I remember! She was like, ‘Lord, let her be brown. Let her have black hair.’”
Most people related to Tamera’s wish of having a girl that looks like her, but others slammed her for her comments, stating that, if she wanted a daughter with dark skin, she should have married a black man.
DEALING WITH CRITICISM OVER HER MARRIAGE
Tamera has also been open about the harsh criticism she has faced for marrying a white man.
“When we first came out publicly as a couple 12 years ago, I remember a few negative comments, such as ‘Never expected her to be with him!’ But I never expected it to reach this degree of criticism as I got older,” she confessed to Momstatic last year.
But Tamera had the biggest example of interracial marriage on her parents. Her mom is black, and her father is white, and they raised their kids to “see the character, not color.”
Tamera and Adam rely on each other to not let the bad comments affect their beautiful family, and Adam advised Tamera to focus on the people that are there for her, instead of the ones against her.
