NeNe Leakes throws shade at Kenya Moore after birth of her baby girl Brooklyn

NeNe Leakes was far from excited about the birth of Kenya Moore's child when she recently guested on Andy Cohen's show. The former co-stars had a bitter feud in the past that many thought was over until now.

If NeNe Leakes’ latest reaction to the birth of Kenya Moore’s baby is an indication, the feud between them isn’t over. The reality star was far from enthused when the birth of Moore’s baby was brought up during her recent guesting on “Watch What Happens Live.”

AN UNFINISHED FEUD?

It’s no secret that Leakes and Moore have bad blood between them. In 2015, they fought during a season 7 reunion of “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” The confrontation stemmed from Moore’s accusation that Leakes was flirting with Cynthia Bailey’s husband.

It seemed that all was well with the two when Leakes recently commented on a post featuring Moore’s baby shower. Leakes was suspiciously not invited to the affair but that didn’t keep her from sending out happy vibes Moore’s way.

“So happy for [Kenya]! Bravo should have made her a housewife this season! She really really deserves it! Congrats girl! I know you bringing a life into the world and I’m trying to save a life.

“She should be a housewife! Bravo is crazy. They r soooo beautiful! So so happy for her and [husband] Marc [Daly].”

INDEX-FINGER CLAP

With the abundance of pleasantries in her comment, it’s surprising that she was far from thrilled later when Andy Cohen congratulated Moore and her new baby while was she was a guest on his show.

During his interview with Leakes, Cohen paused to congratulate the former “RHOA” star.

“Want to send congratulations out to Kenya Moore who had her baby. Very excited. It’s a girl called Brooklyn, so congratulations to Kenya.”

Leakes’ bored reaction following Cohen’s remarks was an obvious shade on Moore. She merely did an index-finger clap and gave a slight side-eye to the show’s other guest, Phoebe Robinson.

POSTING FOR PORSHA NOT KENYA

Likewise, Leakes appeared to have been trying to deflect attention from the birth of Moore’s child by posting about Porsha Williams’ hospitalization on the same day Moore’s daughter was born. She shared a photo of the pregnant Williams’ arm while on a hospital bed and asked for prayers for her co-star.

THE BIRTH OF KENYA'S BABY

Moore gave birth on November 4 to a healthy baby girl she named Brooklyn Doris. She delivered ahead of her Thanksgiving due date due to complications from pre-eclampsia.

The reality star previously alerted fans that her due date may be pushed earlier after being diagnosed with the condition. She shared a photo of her heavily swollen feet and wrote, “This is NOT normal!” She also revealed she gained 17 pounds in one week due to water retention.

Moore is probably too busy with her new bundle of joy to worry about whether or not Leakes threw shade at her. Let’s hope Leakes’ reaction had been misread by many considering she had a lot of good things to say about her former co-star earlier.
