Will Smith's son Jaden calls Tyler the Creator his 'boyfriend' while on stage

Jaden Smith, one of the sons of actor and singer Will Smith, revealed that fellow rapper Tyler The Creator was his boyfriend in the middle of his presentation at Tyler’s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival.

In a video uploaded to social media, which contains strong language, Jaden appeared onstage saying that Tyler was the “best friend in the world.” Soon later, he added that he loved him so much.

After that, Jaden said, “I wanna tell you guys something, I wanna tell you, Tyler doesn’t wanna say, but Tyler is my [expletive] boyfriend [sic],” while pointing at the rapper in the audience.

The camera quickly captured Tyler’s reaction. He removed the facemask he was wearing, looked at the crowd, waved his hand, and said that it was not true. He did it all while laughing, what might suggest that it was a joke.

QUESTIONING THEIR RELATIONSHIP

However, Tyler and Jaden’s relationship has raised a lot of eyebrows. As All Hip-Hop reported, Tyler, 27, admitted in an interview that he usually ends phone conversations with the 20-year-old rapper by asking him to send pictures of his penis.

RUMORS ABOUT TYLER’S SEXUALITY

It is not the first time that both of them have been involved in rumors suggesting that they are gay. In Tyler’s case, the speculations began after he rapped about “kissing white boys” on his 2017 LP titled “Flower Boy.”

Apart from that, he said during an interview with Rolling Stone in 2015 that he “100% would go gay for ’96 [Leonardo DiCaprio].” Later, he posted a picture of the actor from the 1996 film “Romeo + Juliet” followed with the caption, “yes boyfriend yes.”

RUMORS ABOUT JADEN’S SEXUALITY

People started wondering about Jaden’s sexuality and gender identity a couple of years ago, when he decided to be the face of a 2016 Louis Vuitton womenswear campaign for which he posed next to a couple of female models wearing skirts and blouses.

Soon after the concert, Jaden took to Twitter to share the following message: “Yup [Tyler The Creator] I Told Everyone You Can’t Deny It Now [sic],” as a way to add power to his remarks or make his joke “funnier.”

JADEN’S LEAVING HIS PARENTS’ HOME AT 15 YEARS OF AGE

Back in September, Jaden and his parents made headlines during Jada’s “Red Table Talk.” In it, the mother-of-two revealed how hard it was for her when Jaden left home at 15-years-old.

She admitted that the boy walked up to her and requested for emancipation as his 15th birthday present. He was asking to be legally freed from his parents' authority. After thinking about it for a while, she and Will agreed to Jaden’s wishes.

"Being in this lifestyle, in this world, is a bubble, and he wanted out. I understood that because I didn’t have the bubble. I knew what having my freedom outside the bubble, what I gained from that. I knew the sooner I let him go, the faster he was going to come back,” said Jada.
