Casey shared the heartbreaking story with Whimn, where she said that instead of reading her wedding vows, she read the evidence of her partner’s infidelity in front of the guests.

She recalled, "This was supposed to be the happiest day of my life, instead, I knew it was the end of my dream relationship, and everyone was going to witness it.”

Casey said she and her former fiancé Alex were together for six years.

Just when things seemed perfect, Casey received an email on the night before her wedding. Attached on the email were screenshots from an unknown sender.

Then, the message read, "I wouldn’t marry him. Will you?"

Casey felt the color drain from her face as she read the racy text exchanges between Alex and another woman. It was even more painful seeing photos of them together.

Recalling those screenshots, Casey said, "The texts were dated from months to only days before. There was no questioning the legitimacy of these messages. I just knew."

Despite how heartbroken she was, Casey refused to cancel the ceremony since every single one of their guests made efforts to be present at their wedding.

Instead of canceling, Casey decided to have her revenge.

On the wedding day, Casey got ready and acted as if everything was normal and fine. She even walked down the aisle.

When she reached the altar, it was time to tell everyone the truth.

She announced, "There will be no wedding today. It seems Alex is not who I thought he was."

Casey then took out her phone and read every single message that she received. Alex was as pale as a ghost, according to her.

"I let my weeping eyes rise and meet his, and he had not one thing to say. He stalked out of the church with his best man trailing behind him. His family looked on, horrified."

Despite the “horrible” moment, Casey still thanked her friends and family for attending the ceremony.

In the end, she chose not to cancel the reception, but she said it was going to be “a celebration of honesty, finding true love and following your heart even when it hurts."

Of course, that day was excruciating for Casey, but she said she still enjoyed that party.
