Diddy is reportedly 'beside himself' with grief as he holds 'beautiful' memorial for Kim Porter

Sean "Diddy" Combs held a candle-lit memorial service for Kim Porter in his home while still reeling from her loss.

Still grieving over the sudden death of his long-time girlfriend, Kim Porter, Sean “Diddy” Combs held a memorial service for her in his Bel-Air home.

A BEAUTIFUL MEMORIAL

The singer who’s still struggling and barely sleeping since Porter’s death paid tribute to her in a heartwarming memorial on Sunday afternoon. Diddy was reportedly involved with all the arrangements and made sure the service was pretty special. He even shared a glimpse of the candle-lit scene on his Instagram Story where photos of Porter and their family were on display.

Pharrell Williams, Mary J. Blige, French Montana and Kourtney Kardashian were among over 100 guests who flocked to Diddy’s home to attend the service.

"It was a beautiful memorial for Kim," a source reveals and adds,

"Diddy is still beside himself. He was very emotional, but grateful how many of his friends showed up to honor Kim.”

A TRIBUTE TO A SOULMATE

The memorial came in the heels of Diddy’s heartbreaking Instagram tribute to Porter. He broke his silence following news of her death by way of several posts commemorating her life.

In his first post, he spoke of the “nightmare” he’s been unable to wake up from and how much he missed Porter. He also described their “unexplainable” relationship.

“For the last three days, I’ve been trying to wake up out of this nightmare,” Diddy began. “But I haven’t. I don’t know what I’m going to do without you baby. I miss you so much.”

“I’m going to try and find the words to explain our unexplainable relationship. We were more than best friends, we were more than soulmates. WE WERE SOME OTHER SHIT!! And I miss you so much.”

A RELATIONSHIP FOR KEEPS

Diddy and Porter dated for thirteen years on and off and share three children together. Although they finally parted ways in 2007, they remained the best of friends, and more like family.

A source for People said Diddy’s relationship with Porter was special.

“Despite not being together romantically, he loved Kim. It was really true love and he is hurting badly right now.”

A LOVE FOR DANCE

On Monday, Diddy tweeted a video of Porter dancing.

"She loved to dance," he wrote.

"Thank you to everybody for your prayers and support. God is the greatest. He woke you up to see another day. Please don’t take it for granted. Let’s go people!!!”

PORTER'S DEATH AND FUNERAL

Porter shocked her family when she was discovered lifeless in her home on Thursday. The 47-year-old was reportedly suffering from flu-like symptoms and possibly pneumonia at the time of her death. Results of her autopsy have yet to be revealed in order to determine her actual cause of death.

Meanwhile, Porter’s funeral is scheduled on Saturday. A dinner will also be held on Friday where mourners could gather before she’s laid to rest.
