Kate Middleton chose the same color outfit as Meghan Markle for her solo engagement today
The Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Sussex both stunned in holiday red and black as they engaged in events across London. Royal watchers are wondering who wore the color mix better.
Middleton surprised staff and students of the University College of London on Wednesday. She spoke with Professor Eamon McCrory, the Co-Director of the Developmental Risk and Resilience Unit in the Psychology & Language Sciences Division of the Neuroscience Laboratory.
The mother-of-three adorned her Paule Ka suit as she learned about children's early emotional and social development. According to Hello Magazine, she owned the chic piece since 2012 and last wore it in February of 2017.

Middleton, 36, donned the fitted blazer and the flared, mid-thigh skirt above a black turtleneck. Her stockings and shoes were also black. She pulled her brown locks up in a low ponytail to complete the look.
Professor McCrory's neuroscience research team showed Middleton some of their groundbreaking research. She also saw how they use their MRI scanner to study the brain.
The instrument shows brain structure variations and how the parts function. One of Middleton's causes is to help children who are going through adversity at an early stage so that they can flourish into healthy adults.
Across town, Meghan Markle wowed in the same striking color combination. She joined the women of the Hubb Community Kitchen in West London. The Grenfell tower survivors helped with her charity cookbook that was released in September 2018.
Markle, 37, stopped by to see what difference was made through the funds raised from book sales. She wore a $228.00 Club Monaco "Sallyet" dress underneath a £432 burgundy coat.
The velvet collar of the dress really enhanced the look. Markle paired the ensemble with similar black leggings and her Givenchy £770 leather ankle boots. Like her sister-in-law, she also styled her hair in a low ponytail.
The cookbook Markle published features over 50 recipes from the diverse group of women at the kitchen. Markle will spend time working in the kitchen to help prepare 200 meals for the community.
The kitchen provides for homeless shelters, elderly residents, and women's refugees. It is now able to stay open seven days a week thanks to the Duchess' funding. The building has also gone through a total revamp complete with new facilities.
Just last week, Middleton may have committed another fashion copycat crime. She wore the same polka-dot dress that a guest at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding wore.
The modest long-sleeve polka dot was seen on Markle when she took a portrait with other members of the royal family. The Alessandra Rich piece was also worn by Abigal Spender, a close friend of Markle, in May.
