Images shared on social media reportedly show how close the wildfires came to consuming their home. It’s believed that if their house went down, the neighboring homes would’ve been affected too.

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian allegedly saved their neighborhood by hiring a private team of firefighters. Their house in Hidden Hills was left untouched by the California wildfires.

Images shared on social media revealed that the fire was stopped at a few feet from the home. A field close by shows how close the flames came.

It’s believed that if their home had gone up in flames, it would have started a devastating domino effect on the rest of the neighborhood. However, their quick thinking prevented their $60 million house from going up in smoke.

As much as their neighbors are probably grateful for their good deed, not everyone was pleased by the move. Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth donated $500,000 toward efforts to prevent the California wildfires.

The donation by the two stars caused fans to criticize West and Kardashian for not doing more to help other, less fortunate communities. People took to social media to berate the couple.

Reports stated that the “Keeping up with the Kardashians” star and her three children were given just one hour to evacuate their home when the wildfires began. The reality star had just flown in from the San Quentin jail.

At the time, she was visiting the prison where a death row inmate she is campaigning to have released is being held. When she arrived she was told she had to flee quickly.

The star landed at her home in her private plane. She managed to take aerial videos and pictures of the flames spreading around Los Angeles and Ventura County.

At the time, she’d gone to social media to ask fans to pray for her home.
