Gabrielle Union & Dwayne Wade enjoy parent duties with their newborn daughter Kaavia in new videos

It’s been two weeks since Gabrielle Union and Dwayne Wade surprised the world with the birth of their first child through a surrogate. The new parents are still on cloud nine, and they look utterly in love with the baby in recent new videos posted on their social media.

The Union-Wade family is still rejoicing for the birth of baby Kaavia, Gabrielle’s first daughter and Wade’s third, since he already has two sons, Zaire and Zion, from a previous relationship.

The adorable little girl was born on November 7 through a surrogate, since Union has been open about her infertility struggles and the fact that she had tried several times to conceive a baby through IVF, but ended up having eight or nine miscarriages in the process.

THE CENTER OF THEIR WORLD

Kaavia James, the couple’s “miracle baby,” has taken front and center of the stars’ Instagram accounts, as the doting parents can’t get enough of her cuteness and are sharing it with the world, showing just how happy they are.

In one of her most recent posts, Gabrielle is seen holding her daughter in arms and slowing swaying as they listen to James Taylor’s “Fire and Rain.”

Kaavia is wearing a light blue onesie and a beanie while staring at her mom with wide eyes. Union, on the other hand, looks stunning in a floral printed t-shirt and a matching headwrap.

“@kaaviajames "WTH is this?!?!? Last night it was Angela Winbush and Freddie Jackson!?" Yo Kaav looks truly confused and mildly scandalized,” Union captioned the clip.

DOTTING DADDY

Meanwhile, Dwyane was also caught on video dotting on his little princess. The clip, first shared by Union on Instagram stories and reposted by the Oprah Magazine’s account, shows the NBA player showing a flashcard of a deer to the girl, as he starts teaching her about the world.

“At this rate, #DwyaneWade and #GabrielleUnion will have their genius daughter, Kaavia, in Pre-K by next week,” said the caption.

KAAVIA’S TV DEBUT

Oprah Winfrey revealed on Tuesday that besides being one of the first few lucky people to meet Kaavia, the girl will be making her TV debut on an exclusive interview Union and Wade made with Winfrey to talk about their journey to parenthood.

“This little dynamo reminds me to never give up on my dreams. Never give up hope and never think you are alone,” Gabrielle wrote on a post on Wednesday, sharing a full shot of her baby’s face for the first time.

“To anyone suffering and losing hope, let us all lift you up in the light of goodness and hold you there. You are loved, heard and seen,” she concluded.
