Jonathan and Drew Scott’s older brother gets engaged, sharing photos captioned 'on cloud 9’

“The Property Brothers” are going to have a new addition to their family. Their older brother J.D. Scott proposed to makeup artist girlfriend Annalee Belle.

The proposal occurred almost a month ago on October 31. However, the fiancé waited until November 20, to announce the good news to the public via Instagram.

To reveal that he was engaged, J.D. Scott took to Instagram with three colorful images. Jonathan and Drew Scott‘s older brother shared an image where he was on one knee, another one of the engagement ring, and the last photo was of the couple gazing lovingly at one another.

He captioned the post:

“It looks like I get to spend the rest of my life with you. I’m on cloud 9 right now! #SheSaidYes #Engaged #Proposal.”

In her caption, she wrote a lengthy post revealing how J.D. had proposed to her. She shared that the proposal had happened on Halloween, “but we only told friends and family until now.”

Belle joked that she was bracing herself for people to tell her it’s about time. However, she made it clear that she was against anyone deciding or pressurizing anyone else to get married before they were ready.

Going back to the story about her engagement she wrote:

“I had no real desire to get married until a couple months ago, so it’s not like JD was scared or whatever people assume. He was just waiting for me.”

The makeup artist shared that the proposal was “outrageous” and that her fiancé had hidden cameras recording the moment. It’s clear she had no idea that the proposal was coming.

Drew took to Instagram to share his joy for the couple:

“Congrats to my brother @mrjdscott and soon to be sister @annaleebelle! You are two of the most loving people I know and can’t wait to watch you walk down the isle [sic].”

In a post this month, Drew opened up about his relationship with wife Linda Phan. The newlyweds work side-by-side with Phan working as the creative director for Scott Brothers Entertainment.

He explained that they struggled with making time alone because they were the type of people who liked being in large groups with fans. The star then asked his fans for tips on how they make time for their significant other.
