'One Tree Hill' star Jana Kramer gives birth to baby boy after suffering multiple miscarriages

Country singer and actress Jana Kramer and her husband Mike Caussin announced they were expecting a child in June.

This was after Kramer had suffered multiple miscarriages. On Thursday, the star took to social media to announce the birth of their son.

She also revealed the names they had given him. “One Tree Hill” star Jana Kramer, 34, welcomed Jace Joseph Caussin on Thursday.

She took to Instagram to post an adorable image of the parents nuzzling their bundle of joy. Kramer captioned the post:

“Welcome to the world, Jace Joseph Caussin. Our hearts are so full. 'Thank you to all of our friends and family..and all of you who have supported Mike and I, and our growing family.”

The star also mentioned and thanked Ava Women which is a brand that makes ovulation tracking bracelets. She wrote: “We are so blessed, and a huge thank you to @avawomen for helping us grow our family.”

The actress also took to her Instagram Stories to share a video of her hospital room that showed her son and husband taking a nap.

Kramer wrote, “my two sleeping handsome boys.” In June, the couple announced they were expecting after dealing with multiple miscarriages and marriage troubles.

At the time, the singer wrote:

"Surprise! We have a rainbow baby on the way and couldn't be more excited! Jolie is going to be a big sister & we're becoming a family of 4!"

In May 2015, Kramer married NFL tight end Caussin and the next month she revealed that they were expecting a baby.

Their baby girl, Jolie, was born in January 2016. However, later that year they separated after he cheated on her with more than one woman.

The following year, they reunited and renewed their marriage vows that December. The star revealed that she’d suffered more than one miscarriage before.

At the time she wrote:

"Today I am 1-3. I debated posting this for the exact reason why it's a silent struggle. I don't want I'm sorry or sympathy. I just don't want to feel alone. And I know I'm not," she wrote alongside a photo of the sonogram."

Before marrying Caussin, Kramer had been married to Michael Gambino for some months in 2004. In 2010, she married her “Prom Night” co-star Jonathan Schaech.

A month after their wedding they separated and finalized their divorce in 2011.

At the time when she opened up about her miscarriages, the actress had also shared:

“This unfortunately isn't my first loss. When I first found out I was pregnant I wanted to shout it from the rooftop but I know for reasons like this we have to wait. So because we don't tell many, we have to suffer silently...and suffering silently was my thing in the past, but it's not now."
