Michelle Obama cancels her book tour to attend the funeral of George H.W. Bush
Michelle Obama has postponed several book tour stops in order to attend the funeral of the 41st President of the United States, George H. W. Bush.
The former First Lady was supposed to visits cities such as Paris and Berlin in order to present her book, "Becoming," but her schedule had to be rearranged.
The announcement was made by Michelle herself through her Twitter account, where she apologized to those who bought tickets to the events.

She also hoped her readers and fans would understand her desire to attend Bush's funeral and to join her in 'paying tribute to him and his tremendous contributions to our world.'

THEY MEANT A LOT TO EACH OTHER
Michelle had a special connection with the former President and they would always have a laugh whenever they would get together, as it can be seen in the picture shared by the Michelle on Instagram.
Along with the photo, in which Bush, who passed away on Friday night, November 30, can be seen landing a sweet and affectionate kiss on her cheek, Michelle left a few words of comfort.

THE GOODBYE
Americans will have the opportunity to bid Bush farewell from Monday to Wednesday morning; during that period, his body will lie in state at the U.S. Capitol Rotunda, in Washington.
There will also be a state funeral held at the Washington National Cathedral, at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 5, while a second one will take place at 10 a.m. on Thursday at St. Martin's Episcopal Church.

Michelle will be attending the funeral with her husband, Barack, who also accompanied her to Barbara Bush's funeral when she passed away on April 17, 2018.
