Drake’s baby mama praised for looking stylish in new photos after her 'newfound wealth'
Drake’s baby mama has been flaunting luxury items more often recently, and social media users are attributing her improved wardrobe to the hefty check she’s reportedly getting from the rapper. Trolls also had a field day in her comments section.
Two months ago, the Instagram account of Sophie Brussaux was still private, and now she may be rethinking her decision to take it public; the painter/former adult film star has been sharing more glamorous looks of herself recently.
In one picture, Brussaux rocks a puffy burgundy coat with a fur hoodie, snakeskin-print top, black leggings, and dark brown boots. She accompanies the ensemble with a light brown bag and sweeps her hair into a sleek top bun.
In another photo from about a week ago, the French beauty leaves her hair down and pairs blue crop top and tight jeans with a white jacket and white snakeskin boots.
Some of the responses from social media users have been positive:
“The coat is pretty on you. I love the entire outfit and your hair. Go ahead on Ms. Fine and Beautiful.”
“My girl is glowing!!!”
Most, however, came from folks who believe Brussaux’s new glow is all thanks to the child support money she’s getting from the “Hotline Bling” rapper.
“That 300 million baby daddy net worth is giving you a glow.”
“The feeling you get…when you trap one of the highest paid rappers.”
“How much of that was bought using @champagnepapi [Drake’s Instagram handle] money tho?”
“That baby daddy money doing you right.”
Brussaux and Drake were first spotted together in January 2017 as they enjoyed a dinner date in Amsterdam. Months later, reports emerged that the painter claimed to have received texts from Drake asking her to get an abortion.
At the time, a rep for the “God’s Plan” rapper assured TMZ: “If it is, in fact, Drake’s child, which he does not believe, he would do the right thing by the child.”
Brussaux welcomed her son with Drake, Adonis, in October 2017 but nothing was heard of it until another rapper Pusha T, spilled the beans in a diss track titled "The Story of Adidon."
Drake himself would later open up about his son in his latest album that was released in June.
Two months ago, the rapper shared new details about his relationship with his baby mama on LeBron James’ show “The Shop.”
“I am a single father learning to communicate with a woman who, you know, we’ve had our moments," said the 32-year-old. "I do want to be able to explain to my son what happened. But I don’t have any desire for him to not love his mother. No matter what happens, I have unconditional love for the mother of my child because I want him to love his mother and I have to project that energy.”
