Cardi B shares first full-face photo of daughter Kulture a day after announcing split from Offset

Cardi B surprises fans by debuting her daughter's face on Instagram. Just hours earlier, she also revealed she and Offset are over.

Cardi B is making one explosive revelation after another lately. Barely 24 hours after announcing she and Offset are over, she debuted their daughter’s first full-face photo.

A SURPRISE MOVE

Cardi and Offset have been very careful about showing off their daughter to the world which makes her latest move a surprise. Back in August, the couple sparked breakup rumors when Offset appeared upset at his wife at the MTV Video Music Awards. He thought she was going to unveil their daughter on stage. It turned out, Cardi had no intention of doing so and only pretended to be carrying their baby as she made her way to accept an award. They didn’t break up then but the cracks in their marriage were apparently starting to show.

THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE SPLIT

Months later and Cardi herself confirmed her marriage with Offset is over. She released a video on Instagram yesterday announcing their split.

"So everybody been bugging me and everything and you know, I've been trying to work things out with my baby father for a hot minute now and we're really good friends and you know we're really good business partners. He's always somebody that I run to to talk to and we got a lot of love for each other but things just haven't been working out between us for a long time and it's nobody's fault."

To set things straight, she adds,

"I guess we grew out of love, but we're not together anymore. I don't know. It might take time to get a divorce and I'm gonna always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter's father and yah."

Offset confirmed the separation too when he wrote “Y’all won” in the comments section of Cardi’s video.

FOCUSING ON KULTURE

Sources say the couple had been struggling with their one-year marriage for months but tried to stay together for their daughter, Kulture, who according to Cardi’s latest post, is “my heart.”

She shared a photo of the four-month-old for the first time revealing what an adorable baby she is taking after the features of her mother. Kulture wore a pink and gray striped bib that bore her name on it as she sat on a car seat with a pink headband wrapped around her head.

One photo is all it took for fans to swoon over Cardi’s baby who they commonly described as “beautiful” and “gorgeous.”

It’s unclear why Cardi decided to finally share Kulture’s face to the world after valuing her privacy for months. She may be trying to deflect talk about her split or simply thought it was the right time for fans to see her child. Regardless, it's definitely worth the wait.
