Cardi B and Offset gave their fans quite the scare when they made it look as if they weren't together anymore. The couple sparked some rumors after how they were acting towards each other at the MTV Video Music Awards.

Although Cardi B dominated the VMAs, keen-eyed fans were quick to notice that she wasn't interacting with her husband Offset. As she walked towards the stage to accept her award, she briefly walked past him without even acknowledging his presence, and he blankly stared at her when she joked about their baby. To add fuel to the fire, the Migos rapper did not clap for his wife as she accepted her speech.

It seems the 26-year-old rapper was furious at Cardi after he thought she was about to unveil their baby at the awards show. Seeing the "Bodak Yellow" rapper walking up the stage carrying a pink blanket, Offset was visibly upset. However, instead of revealing their child, it turned out to be one of the VMA's famous Moon Person trophies.

However, Cardi herself squashed all comments of their separation, tweeting that her husband was only upset because he thought she was really going to unveil their baby in front of the entire world.

The couple welcomed their daughter into the world last month, naming her Kulture. Although she hoped to head back on the road with Bruno Mars for the rest of his "24K Magic" tour, she decided to back out after underestimating motherhood.

According to a previous report, she said:

"I think I underestimated this whole mommy thing. Not only am I just not ready physically, I'm not ready to leave my baby behind since the doctors explained it's not healthy for her to be on the road."

While she decided not to go on tour to take care of her child, she wasted no time in trying to make money for little Kulture, heading back to the studio as soon as she had recovered.

Cardi B and Offset welcomed their first daughter on July 11, and they decided to name their little girl something unique. They named her Kulture Kiari Cephus, saying that "anything else woulda been basic". The "I Like It" rapper revealed that it was Offset who chose their baby's name, and her second name was actually her father's real name: Kiari Kendrell Cephus.
