'We are all praying for you!' Rihanna sends sweet message to fan battling cancer

Rihanna pays tribute to a fan with a lengthy message to show support for her battle with cancer.

Rihanna has a soft spot for her fans, most especially those who are battling a disease. She proved this recently when she paid tribute to a fan who’s fighting cancer.

The pop star took to Instagram to send out tons of her love, prayers, and compassion for her ailing fan. In a lengthy message, she expressed her admiration and made known that she felt for her and was inspired by her.

“Sis we are all praying for you! Your strength and your ability to let the beauty in your spirit shine through, even in the midst of adversity, is tremendously inspiring!!”

“Thank you for continuing to share your journey with us! I can imagine it’s quite a lonely one, hours on end in hospital walls, being scared to even fall asleep because you’re too afraid u won’t wake up, feeling like nobody will ever understand that, the physical agony, the medication and all their side effects…”

Rihanna ended her message with the hope that many would support her fan’s plight before telling her she loved her.

PAYING HER RESPECTS TO A FAN SHE'LL MISS

This isn’t the first time the singer showed concern for an ailing supporter. A few years back in June 2016, she and Drake paid tribute to a fan Megan Flores, who passed away due to cancer. They formed a connection when she visited Flores months earlier in response to her request to meet the singer through the efforts of Make-A-Wish Foundation. When Flores passed away, Rihanna took a break from her tour and wrote a special tribute for her.

"She's inspired me so much with her strength and her perspective on life! So fearless and kind! It's heavy news that I can't slide in your DMs anymore like I used to!! There was always a smile waiting for me there! You brightened any day! Rest up baby girl! We will miss you!!"

RIHANNA TO THE RESCUE

There is much to be said about Rihanna’s kindness and concern for others. She also went out of her way to help an employee of her Fenty x Beauty cosmetics company. The makeup artist lost her luggage filled with hard-earned cosmetics which she uses for her job. After failed attempts at getting the airline’s attention, Rihanna stepped in and made contact with the airline company herself. In no time, her employee’s luggage was recovered.

A WEAKNESS IN THE WINK OF AN EYE

Rihanna is an angel when it comes to helping others, a strength she carries with her. However, just recently, she amusingly proved she’s not perfect. In a clip on her Instagram Stories, she made fans aware that she had difficulty winking. In several attempts, she tried to close one eye but the other seemed to follow. In resignation, she wrote, “still can’t wink.”

At least we know there’s one thing Rihanna isn’t good at. (Insert wink emoji.)
