Julia Roberts is 'floating' after discovering she inspired Meghan Markle to start her career

Julia Roberts is well known for roles in films such as “Pretty Woman,” but she has lately been placed in a new position; Meghan Markle’s career inspiration.

Meghan Markle, who gained fame from portraying Rachel Zane in the hit television series “Suits” has left acting for a life of royal duty as the Duchess of Sussex, but she recently revealed that Julia Roberts inspired her to become an actress.

Meghan’s inspirations also include Joni Mitchell, Tori Morrison, and her mother, Doria Ragland. However, she highlighted Julia as being of specific importance.

Julia was very excited to hear this and when asked how she felt she replied that

“But I am just going to be floating on that all night!”

Roberts learned of her royal fan during a red carpet interview at the premiere of her new film “Ben is Back.” The plot centers around a family whose son comes home from rehab to spend the holidays with his family.

JULIA’S MARRIAGE

Julia Roberts has been married to her husband, Danny Moder for 16 years although it must be noted that their time together has not been moonlight and roses 24/7.

They have experienced a trial separation but decided afterward to not follow through with a divorce. The couple has been overheard discussing possibly renewing their vows.

THANKSGIVING

Julia’s co-star on her upcoming film, Lucas Hedges, could not make it to New York to be with his family for Thanksgiving, so she invited him to her house to celebrate with her family.

In an interview with Stephen Colbert Hedges complimented Julia’s cooking, but he was not entirely happy about his Thanksgiving experience at her home. He admitted that he found the turkey was cooked a little too dry.

Julia did not take this comment lightly and vowed that she would never entertain Lucas at her home again.
