Reginae Carter gets harshly body-shamed after sharing photos from her epic birthday trip to Mexico

Reginae Carter has been sharing pictures from her birthday trip to Mexico, and social media users are throwing a lot of harsh words her way. Fortunately, she has a few coming to her defense as well.

The daughter of reality star Toya Wright, and global superstar rapper, Lil Wayne turned 20 on November 29. After starring in an all-black photoshoot that left nothing to the imagination, Reginae jetted out to Mexico with her mother, younger sister Reign Rushing, and a couple of friends.

The young adult has been sharing a lot of pictures from the fun getaway and is using the opportunity also to show off results from her weight loss. Sadly, the internet being what it is, trolls have taken to the comment section to body-shame the “Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta” alum.

“I just got one question,” began one Instagram user. “Why your titties sagging like you breastfed five babies.”

Another asked rudely:

“Is it me or do she look like lil wayne with a bad wig on?”

There were also those who came off as mean and cruel:

“You super ugly in this and your hair is awful.”

“You look so old every bit of 45 and that hair is nappy how much money you got your hair should be laid. You look old af. Your friends look their age. You are not cute.”

Reginae has never been one to shy away from clapping back at trolls, but she’s probably having too much fun to care this time. Besides, she doesn’t need to: just as there are internet trolls, we also have internet superheroes ready to come to the rescue.

Some netizens urged Reginae to ignore the “haters” and continue living her best life.

“At 5 am on Dec.5, I’m just now realizing,” she began. “I’ve been wasting my mf time.” She added:

“Lord please never let me settle with anything. My goals, my dreams, my spouse, my life in general. Push me to my full potential please.”
