The 15-minute musical, ‘The Sixth In Line To Be King and I,’ is set to air on BBC Radio 4 on New Year’s Day and referred to as an “inspired celebration of Meghan Markle’s life to date.”

According to the BBC, the musical looks forward into 2019 and what it may hold for the royal couple as they expect their first baby in the spring.

Meghan’s musical is an honor that will be a first in the royal family and is said to take heavy inspiration from Rodgers and Hammerstein, so the bar is set quite high.

Pippa Evans is cast as Meghan with Dave Lamb and Richie Webb also cast in the production, one of the two episodes in the 15 Minute Musicals series.

Because of being a Duchess, Meghan cannot do any acting anymore, so starring in her own musical was out of the question.

As Meghan thought back on her acting career, she credited those who inspired her to pursue a career as an actress, like Tori Morrison, Joni Mitchell, and her mum Doria Ragland, but one name she mentioned as being the biggest inspiration of them all for her, Julia Roberts.

Julia found out about being Meghan’s inspiration at the premiere of her new movie, ‘Ben is Back,’ during a red carpet interview. Excited at the news Julia gushed:

“But I am just going to be floating on that all night!”

But Meghan’s fanbase is not the only thing growing. A few days ago Meghan attended a charity carol service alongside some of Prince Harry’s closest friends, and one thing that stood out was her baby bump.

In what appears to be a Seraphine maternity dress, Meghan’s baby bump was visible and notably bigger than a few weeks ago. While no exact due date is known to the public, Meghan is expected to deliver their bundle of joy in March or April 2019.
