Who is Lauren Silverman? - the gorgeous mother of Simon Cowell's son
Lauren Silverman is well-known as the woman who finally "got" Simon Cowell. But who is she, really, and what do we know about her?
Silverman is typically described as a New York socialite turned mother-of-Eric, Simon's only child. The 41-year-old got together with Cowell under the haze of an infidelity scandal in 2013 that she may never live down.

She met Cowell through her husband, Andrew Silverman, in Barbados in 2006. Her then-husband and father of her child divorced her for adultery when she was discovered to be carrying Cowell's son. She and Cowell are still together, and happy by all reports.
DOES LAUREN HAVE OTHER CHILDREN?
Lauren's son with Simon was born on Valentine's Day in 2014, but she shares an older boy, Adam, with her ex-husband who stays with his dad in Manhattan.
The Cowells have a home in New York City and Lauren spends time with Adam on consecutive weeks. Cowell has also reportedly told The Sun that he does not rule out having more children.
IS LAUREN RELATED TO SARAH SILVERMAN?
Although Sarah has a sister named Laura Silverman who is an actress and voice actress, Lauren is neither her sister nor even a relative.
WHAT IS LAUREN'S MAIDEN NAME?
Lauren is actually a Davis, only becoming a Silverman when she married the banker-real-estate mogul. She has a sister younger than her called Nicole Alexandra Davis.
WHAT POSITIVE IMPACT HAS LAUREN HAD ON SIMON'S LIFE?
Cowell has notoriously been called a womanizer and someone who lives life to excess. In recent years, Silverman appears to have made an "honest man" out of Cowell.
Since his medical situation in October 2017, when he fainted and fell down some stairs at his home, he has toned down the vodka drinking and reduced the number of cigarettes he smokes a day, saying:
“So I changed certain things in my life and now, yeah, touch wood, I do feel happier than I’ve been in years. Both Eric and Lauren are a big part of that.”
