Remember '70s actress Jayne Kennedy? Her daughter is all grown up & got engaged in 2018

Savannah Re, one of the daughters of the TV personality Jayne Kennedy, is 33 years old already. She is expected to walk down the aisle very soon, too!

In August 2018, the lady uploaded a slideshow to Instagram showing her beautiful engagement ring and more photos addressing the proposal. In the first two images, Savannah showcased the piece of jewelry in her hand.

In the third and fourth one, she and her soon-to-be husband. Jaris, appeared at the Perla Restaurant in Puerto Rico wearing elegant clothing. Savannah’s face set clear that she didn’t know what was happening.

Jaris (and their friends) was completely sure about his decision as shown in the next couple of images. He kneeled and presented the beautiful ring in front of a shocked Savannah who said yes.

The last picture of the slideshow portrayed the couple smiling at the camera clearly happy for their future. In the caption, Savannah set clear that the only way to describe her feeling was “pure bliss.”

“Surrounded by our beautiful friends (who knew and were apart of the plan in bringing everyone here to PR), overlooking the ocean at the most beautiful restaurant I've ever seen, Jaris asked me to be his partner for life, his love, his wife. Or something like that... I will check the video because I was crying so hard I could barely hear him [sic],” added Savannah.

Finally, the lady pointed out that she couldn’t wait to marry and “spend forever growing” with Jaris. So far, the couple has not shared much about the date or location of the wedding.

Jayne Kennedy, the mother of Savannah, is known for working in a couple of episodes in some TV shows from the ‘70s and ‘80s, including “The Six Million Dollar Man,” “The Muthers,” “Chips,” and “The Love Boat.”

Apart from that, Ebony magazine labeled her as one of the most beautiful women of the 20th century, and the Coca-Cola Company said she was the most admired African-America woman during the same era.

After marrying actor Bill Overton and having three children, Jayne left the spotlight. At the moment, the 67-year-old actress is devoting herself to philanthropic work.
