Gwen Stefani reveals why she isn't in a rush to walk down the aisle with Blake Shelton

With rumors having escalated during the festive time about their relationship status, Gwen cleared the air about how she and Blake feel about marriage and their relationship.

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton went public with their relationship in the fall of 2015, and have happily been dating for the last three years.

But since the couple’s romance began when they met on the set of ‘The Voice’ their relationship got plagued by rumors of marriage. And even now it seems that fans are more obsessed with their marital status than they are.

Both previously divorced and having had high profile marriages, neither of them is in a hurry to get married as Gwen elaborated:

“There is zero pressure. I think when there’s trauma, the way we had trauma back in the day, going through all these hard times, to get to a place where you find somebody that’s like your best friend that you know that you can depend on and trust and just go through life. I think that we’re just trying to be in the moment as much as we can.”

Their romance started as they were separating from their spouses, and turned to each other for support, so even if tabloids are speculating that the could get engaged on Christmas, or as Ellen DeGeneres playfully claimed they already have, it is not likely.

The couple went through a lot during their own breakups at the time and are happy in the place their relationship is at the moment. When asked if Blake is her forever man Stefani didn’t hesitate with a smiling answer, “I hope so, yeah.”

Love her to bits; Blake definitely does, having confessed as much on stage, but also in doing the things he does not like. When Stefani asked Blake to do the video to their Christmas song together he was hesitant but capitulated eventually as Gwen said:

"I was like, 'Oh no!' Because Blake hates doing videos. It's his least favorite thing, and it's one of my favorite things to do."

But he dived into the holiday spirit with Gwen as they released the video to their song, ‘You Make It Feel Like Christmas.’ The song got co-written by Justin Tranter and Bushbee and also happens to be the title track to Gwen’s 2017 holiday album by the same name.

Gwen recently released a deluxe version of her holiday album of last year and posted teasers of her new music video with Blake online shortly after.
