Kenya Moore shares picture of Kandi Burruss meeting baby daughter Brooklyn for the 1st time
Kenya Moore's baby meets her honorary aunts for the first time as Kandi Burruss and Cynthia Bailey pay her a sweet visit.
It’s not only Kenya Moore who’s excited about her new baby. Her friends are equally thrilled to meet the newborn. Kandi Burruss, got the chance to be introduced to baby Brooklyn Doris when she paid a visit to the new mom along with her son Ace and husband Todd Tucker. Cynthia Bailey and Noelle Robinson joined them.
AUNTIES PAY THEIR NIECE A VISIT
Kenya declared Kandi Burruss, Cynthia Bailey, and Noelle Robinson her daughter’s honorary aunts after they paid her a visit a few days after giving birth. Their first meeting with little Brooklyn was captured in pictures.
Kenya shared two photos of Kandi holding a sleeping Brooklyn. In one of them, she was joined by her son, Ace Tucker. The new mom thanked her former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” co-star including Cynthia, Todd and Noelle in her caption.
“@kandi and @cynthiabailey10 @Todd167 and @noellerobinson came to check on their niece just days after we got home,” she told her fans about the pic and adds, “I just love @acewellstucker smile.”
Meanwhile, Cynthia took to her own Instagram account and shared a photo of her watching Brooklyn sleep.
“Love at first sight!” she gushed before adding,
“Been waiting on this little one for a long time. Just adore you already sweet Brooklyn Doris Daly. Congratulatiions @thekenyamoore & Marc. May God continue to bless and protect your beautiful daughter.”
Noelle also commemorated the happy occasion with a sweet photo of her and Cynthia tending to Brooklyn while she sleeps on a cushion on their laps.
“Brooklyn is so beautiful!” Noelle exclaimed in her caption after congratulating Kenya.
Kenya couldn’t be happier with the birth of her daughter who is also her first child. The 47-year-old suffered infertility issues in the past that prompted her to conceive through IVF. The birth of Brooklyn also came with a scare as Kenya learned she had pre-eclampsia two weeks before her due date. This forced her to undergo a caesarian section ahead of schedule.
SHOPPING TO RECOVERY
But despite her birth pains, Kenya was already spotted shopping at Target just four days after delivering her child. She said she needed to purchase a few more things for her baby. Still recovering, she maneuvered her way through the store using an electric scooter.
BROOKLYN'S FIRST PHOTOS
Kenya has since been sharing glimpses of her child. The first glimpse was an image of the baby’s hand resting on Kenya’s hand. Then weeks later she posted a photo of her feet. She finally revealed Brooklyn’s face a few days ago as she announced that she and Brooklyn were featured in an article on People. The lovely photo was taken in Kenya’s bedroom with mother and daughter matching in white. It was a lovely debut pic, one that will be preceding more lovely pics of them, no doubt.
