BROOKLYN'S BIRTH

Kenya couldn’t be happier with the birth of her daughter who is also her first child. The 47-year-old suffered infertility issues in the past that prompted her to conceive through IVF. The birth of Brooklyn also came with a scare as Kenya learned she had pre-eclampsia two weeks before her due date. This forced her to undergo a caesarian section ahead of schedule.

SHOPPING TO RECOVERY

But despite her birth pains, Kenya was already spotted shopping at Target just four days after delivering her child. She said she needed to purchase a few more things for her baby. Still recovering, she maneuvered her way through the store using an electric scooter.

BROOKLYN'S FIRST PHOTOS

Kenya has since been sharing glimpses of her child. The first glimpse was an image of the baby’s hand resting on Kenya’s hand. Then weeks later she posted a photo of her feet. She finally revealed Brooklyn’s face a few days ago as she announced that she and Brooklyn were featured in an article on People. The lovely photo was taken in Kenya’s bedroom with mother and daughter matching in white. It was a lovely debut pic, one that will be preceding more lovely pics of them, no doubt.
